We offer luxurious accommodation in the historic farmhouse, you can take a break from the modern world and step back in time. Our guest quarters have been exquisitely refurbished working with all the original features, we have interior designed in period style enhancing the exceptional character and friendly atmosphere.
Our cosy guest lounge has an open fire and is the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing evening, you can pass time the old fashioned way with traditional games and a glass of complimentary port or sherry.
The hearty breakfast is served in the room furnished by Beatrix Potter herself! Our enticing breakfast menu has options for all dietary requirements and includes a range of seasonal specials.
We offer banquets, buffets or BBQs to guests and all our delicious meals are prepared using fresh seasonal produce, mostly from our farm and garden.
Guests have access to our private residents garden with hot tub and outdoor dining area, so why not eat your buffet, BBQ or even your breakfast alfresco!
Why not consider a group booking of all three rooms it is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. We can organise just about anything, just ask!
Clean well behaved dogs are as welcome as their clean well behaved owners!
The old oak panelled walls and floors give the house great character, however sound travels easily through the house, this means that the accommodation is not suitable for small children and noisy sleepers! Sorry. (we will take children as part of a full house booking).
In keeping with the traditional character and to allow quiet enjoyment of the house we do not have televisions.
We do not hold a liquor license so please feel free to bring your own.
