The magnificent oak staircase leads to the bedrooms, all feature bespoke beds and fabulous period decor. Each room has a small seating area for relaxing and reading, along with local tea, fresh coffee, hot toddy and homemade cakes.
Extra touches come as standard, in the bathroom locally hand-made toiletries are provided, fresh flowers and a complimentary pass to Langdale country club leisure centre brighten even the rainiest of days.
Our comfortable beds are designed for the perfect night sleep with luxury mattresses, quality linen and goose down duvets.
Facilities can be provided for drying clothes and parking/storing equipment. Guest have access at all times.
In keeping with the traditional character and to allow quiet enjoyment of the house we do not have televisions.
We do not hold a liquor license so please feel free to bring your own.
Wetherlam Room
This lovely room has a deep four poster bed, a small seating area, antique furniture and pretty views across the valley. The private bathroom is next to the bedroom and has a luxurious double bath and heated local slate floor.
Holme Fell Room
This small room has a hand crafted feature bed, pretty views across the valley and oak panelled walls, there is a traditional en-suite rain shower and wc with a heated local slate floor.
Tarn Hows Room
This stunning large feature room with cruck frame beams has a king size handcrafted four poster bed and seating area. There is an en-suite with traditional rain shower and WC on a heated local slate floor.
